Netly Compare is built to work without collecting your personal information. This page explains what that means in practice.
The numbers you enter
The calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The salary, state and other figures you enter are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us.
Shareable links
When you change an input, the calculator updates the web address after the "#" symbol so you can copy and share your scenario. Browsers do not send that part of an address to the server, so we do not receive it. Anyone you share the link with can see the numbers in it, so share it only with people you trust.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set its own cookies, require an account, or ask for your name or email address.
Hosting and server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to operate and secure the service, and it is handled under the hosting provider's own privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this page before it takes effect and describe what is collected, who receives it and how you can opt out.
If you email us, we will see your email address and message and will use them only to reply and improve the site.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
